The Asia
Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) is an international Awards Program
initiated by the Multimedia Development Corporation of Malaysia
to increase ICT awareness in the community and assist in bridging
the Digital Divide. Participants of the Awards Program comprise
16 members of the APICTA Network countries include Australia,
Brunei, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Macau,
Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka,
Thailand and Vietnam. The APICTA awards are in different categories
such as:
• Applications and Infrastructure Tools
• Communication Applications
• Education and Training
• E-Government and Services
• Financial Applications
• Healthcare
• Industrial Applications
• Media and Entertainment
• Research and Development
This year Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA-2005) in ‘Communication
Application’ Category is won by CT Asia for their innovative
“InfoCentrix Multimedia Contact Center Solution”. This award
is presented to Mr. Chalermpon Punnotok, CEO, CT Asia during
an event organized on February 19th in Chiang Mai, Thailand
for its efforts in creating a solution, which is unique in
design and providing positive customer experience and benefiting
many of the international enterprises who are using the solution.
The nominees of the Award were winners from their own countries
which include PCCW Ltd from Hong Kong, Bluengine Asia Pacific
from Singapore, Green Packet from Malaysia, PT Telekomunikasi
from Indonesia.
Addressing to the press, Mr. Chalermpon appreciated
the efforts of Thai Software engineers and their software
designing ability. It’s a great achievement for our company
to win such a prestigious award among many Asia Pacific companies.
CT Asia is well known for its track record of implementing
contact center solution to many large and medium enterprises,
which include Fortune 500 companies. CT Asia is having consistent
exponential growth since its establishment and has international
presence by implementing solutions in UK, China and providing
IT Services to US, Chinese and Singaporean companies, he added.
Before the nominee for the APICTA 2005 awards, CT Asia won
Thailand ICT Awards, organized by joint efforts of Software
Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA), The Association of Thai
ICT Industry (ATCI) and Ministry of ICT, Thailand to encourage
Thai IT companies to innovate IT solutions in different categories.
The award is well recognized in Thai IT Industry and awarded
to the companies for their extraordinary efforts in product
development for the betterment of society. |
